plus if more MMA fighters succeed in MMA its better for Boxing then more exposure.

No ****? Sounds like they're looking to throw him in deep in his first fight.

Boxing's heavyweight division needs all the new infusion of talent it can get, so what the heck, if Arlovski wants to box in the heavies then why not...that division has nothing to lose and can only gain by having a new heavyweight. It is certainly not going to hurt that talent starved division.

Arlovski has about the best handspeed of all the MMA fighters, and that should serve him well. He does have a weak chin, but then, so does Wladimir but that didn't stop him from unifying part of the heavyweight title belts. Even Sam Peter's chin is questionable, as is Cotto's, and list goes on. The nature of boxing allows a boxer to have 30 or 35 fights before anyone finds out that he has a suspect chin. The small gloves of MMA generally reveal a weak chin much quicker in the fighters career. I think Andrei will be matched well early on with the typical handpicked opponents and should do well in boxing outside of top 20 competition. But if he ever steps up against someone on the level of, say, a Brian Minto, he'd probably get knocked out rather quickly. But as I said, the heavyweight division can use all the new talent it can get, so I have nothing against Arlovski trying his hand at it.

Most MMA fighters take amateur or low key pro boxing fights to try and better their punching, against what are essentially fallguy opponents. This is nothing new, but it is 'news' because the fight is positioned on the undercard of a big boxing match.

Arlovski is one of the best strikers in MMA....He has good technique, he's very athletic, always in good shape and he hits hard.

I'm looking forward to seeing him in the ring, he will destroy his opponent in his debut.

                    That's right, forgot about that.

There've been several others too though. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira won the South American Amateur games and captured Bronze at the Pan-Ams, for instance. Nick Diaz has boxed as well, as has KJ Noons (Noons is 7-1).

He's a good boxer as far as MMA/Kickboxing goes not sure if he will be able to carry it over into western boxing this late .
With his so so chin and recklessness, I think he'll be getting knocked out within ten fights.
