I'm sorry but he must be on some kind of meds to think Calzaghe is going to give him a rematch. I like lacy but he is chasing after something that is impossible to get.

He really needs to stick to contenders because hes not getting a belt anytime soon with the last few performances hes put out, he will get shut out by every belt holder right now. I can see Jermain Taylor even putting him on his ass right now. But who knows, the shoulder might be better and his confidence could be back as well so you never know, he has that one punch power still.

Just imagine Calzaghe gave him a re-match.....Lacy's head is totally gone against the contenders that he has faced since, imagine he gets back in the ring with the guy that "broke" him in the first place! I d be surprised if he makes it past the ring walk...

Calzaghe - Lacy was on of the most one sided fights i ve ever seen, even if Lacy does bring this extra 30% that "wasnt there" he still gets UD'ed or TKO'ed

Wait till JC hits the 40 mark than ****, rematch time. (Though i wouldn't like his chances against a 40 year old JC).

He doesn't stand a chance getting a rematch, he should know that.

JC might not have done permanent damage. Never underestimate what a good nights sleep can do for you. It was a long time ago that fight. It was hard for him, but he didnt get knocked out.
All JC did was show us JC is better than we thought, or exposed Lacy for the limited boxer he was.

I can understand Lacy not wanting to comment on a possible fight for Taylor when he has a tune-up coming up in three weeks, but it almost sounds like he's blowing off the Taylor fight like he doesn't necessarily expect it to happen.

And clearly not only did Calzaghe beat the confidence out of Lacy, he must've given him some brain damage as well if he thinks he will ever be offered a rematch. Lacy's mind may be way more gone than perviously thought...

Jeff's mother needs to keep her mouth shut.

Rematch against Calzaghe? Ouch. That's tough love right there.
