Diaz is a good guy and all but that's about it. Tonight proved nothing but that Rocky Balboa doesn't win in real life. Pacquiao's game has improved a lot but is still very flawed. This was a great performance but despite that.. I am actually more confident in Joan Guzman beating Manny now and hope Pacquiao fights Guzman if he does great and takes Nate Campbell's belt away.

Juan Diaz vs. Pacquiao is another one I am dying to see.. Should be a very interesting match up. Hell, you match any of Lightweights right now and it makes for a great fight.

The fight played out almost exactly as I thought it would.. I predicted Manny by 8th round KO so I was one off.

I'm kicking myself in the ass for not having ordered this after watching it just now! 3 good fights in one card. Not only did you get to see Tye Fields knocked the **** out but the Soto fight as well.. Even though the reffing was bull****. This is one card I regret not buying!

Edit: I think Pacquiao knocks out Valero as well.. It'll be war.. can't wait.
you want baby bull to Die?

that fool got 21 inch arms and manny showed he can throw 30 upper cuts thru the gloves.

Guzman is too slick for pacman I dont wanna see that fight I hate runners its boring fight.

I like to see action but I do not think Diaz can get past katsidis his only chance is to cut him up early and get a stoppage on cuts.

you are wrong on the Valero, because Valero has devastating power pacman has never ever felt a guy like him who is equally as muscular and yoked with low body fat.

Valero also has an Iron chin.

Saw the replay tonight on HBO as well. All I gotta say is that Diaz took an absolute ass beating. He didn't have a chance with Pac's speed. I thought Pac might look smaller at 135, but he really didn't and looked pretty healthy at that weight. Diaz being so slow probably made Manny look super fast, but none the less he was still looking quick as hell. All the guys at 135 are gonna be in for a tough fight against Pac that's for sure.

this fight was a brutal beatdown from start to finish. most people said pacquiao has only 1 weapon. but damn!!!! diaz ate a lot of wicked right hands. at that moment i forgot that pacquiao was a southpaw. there's still a lot of flaws but damn it was a great performance. that is boxing clinic at it's best from a flawed fighter.

if joan guzman fights pac, joan can do the ballerina stunt all he wants but he is gonna get his ass knock out. joan has never fought a top caliber fighter. i cant wait for campbell to dispose that overhyped wannabe gayweather.

We will have to bet on the Pacquiao vs. Valero fight then.. and besides the Soto fight where Guzman ran 5 rounds.. when have you known him to be a runner? Have you watched his previous fights?? The guy was coming off a year lay off and beat Sotto easily.. Give him some credit.

Why is it that whenever the name Guzman comes up, people talk about him being a 'runner'? The guy is a madman! It really makes you wonder if they have seen anything of his apart from maybe a couple of rounds of Guzman vs Soto? In every fight bar one or two, he stands right in front of his opponent and ****s with them. He is just very difficult to hit but he very, very rarely, if ever 'runs'.

So, before talking crap about a fighter that you've obviously all never even seen, try actually getting some of his fights and then, and only then, should you pretend you actually know anything about the way he fights. I'll tell you this; if any of you had watched any Guzman fights you would know that he most certainly does not 'run'.

How do I know that you have never even seen any of his fights? Before moving up in weight to where he currently is, he was known and fought like a knockout artist. He would stand in and fire away like a madman! He took big hits right on the chin without flinching and just came back forward to fire away. He has taken a more counter punching role as he has moved up but is not even close to what you would call a 'runner' and still stands in the pocket. God, it annoys me when people talk about a fighter they've never seen fight.

Your right about Pac stepping up his game more. That right hand landed a bunch of times and barely used to throw that punch. Plus he used to throw that one-two straight left combo all the time, but didn't use it nearly as much against Diaz.

As for Valero beating Pac, I just don't buy it. He's wild and not as close to being as fast as Pac and not crafty enough to do good against Pac. Yes he has that power, but that's about it. I feel Pac is going to put a beating on him about the same way as he did on David Diaz. Diaz had a good chin too, but he just took too much punishment. It's going to be the same way for Valero.

I take it you just saw the replay on HBO? I just watched it myself, (ordered the PPV as well). Was a great performance by Manny. And that Luevano-Santiago bout was great as well.
