Paulie will not knock out Hatton, we all know that. But for people here to say that Hatton with knock Paulie senseless are just as ******. Pauli went 12 rounds with Cotto and came out looking like something out of a horror movie and never came close to quitting. No way Hatton gets a KO in this fight.
I'm actually picking Malignaggi for this fight, everybody hates him for his appearance and lack of power. But if you get past those two things you find that hes a really slick boxer and has the capability to outbox Hatton. Especially since Hatton has not looked good lately. I honestly havent seen Hatton fight until Floyd, so I cannot defend him in saying that he is getting shot. He wasnt shot until he lost to Floyd, then looked pretty weak in his last fight....... so maybe he just never really was as good as many people made him out to be? There were tons of hatton fans that promised that Hatton would knockout Floyd and we seen how that went.
Until 2007 he had only fought one undefeated fighter, and that was in his 11th fight. So its obvious that he has picked his opponents fairly well over his career. Tszyu was a good win I guess, but I think KT had already been doing it too long and had too many hard fights. Castillo was not the same when he fought hatton, he had been in too many wars.
I'm sure Hatton has went downhill some in the last few years, but hes just 29. Its not like he is 36 and been boxing for 20 years.
This is why I'm picking Paulie.
