Paulie will not knock out Hatton, we all know that. But for people here to say that Hatton with knock Paulie senseless are just as ******. Pauli went 12 rounds with Cotto and came out looking like something out of a horror movie and never came close to quitting. No way Hatton gets a KO in this fight.

I'm actually picking Malignaggi for this fight, everybody hates him for his appearance and lack of power. But if you get past those two things you find that hes a really slick boxer and has the capability to outbox Hatton. Especially since Hatton has not looked good lately. I honestly havent seen Hatton fight until Floyd, so I cannot defend him in saying that he is getting shot. He wasnt shot until he lost to Floyd, then looked pretty weak in his last fight....... so maybe he just never really was as good as many people made him out to be? There were tons of hatton fans that promised that Hatton would knockout Floyd and we seen how that went.

Until 2007 he had only fought one undefeated fighter, and that was in his 11th fight. So its obvious that he has picked his opponents fairly well over his career. Tszyu was a good win I guess, but I think KT had already been doing it too long and had too many hard fights. Castillo was not the same when he fought hatton, he had been in too many wars.

I'm sure Hatton has went downhill some in the last few years, but hes just 29. Its not like he is 36 and been boxing for 20 years.

This is why I'm picking Paulie.

hatton-malignaggi would be a boring fight. i expect paulie to run and hatton to chase paulie. that is from round 1 to round 12, unless hatton will find an effective ploy to trap the diminutive mouse. in short, it would be a tom and jerry show.

of course, after a little frustration, hatton will ganged up on paulie and deliver the killer blow.

          hatton by decision.

Hatton wins UD or stops him late.

Dude.... Cotto was starved to make the weight for the Maggy fight and Maggy got completely destroyed.

                look in the mirror dude

paulie needs to start looking at his own weakness first. one he has no power and when he does throw a good power shot his hands cant take it.and everytime paulie gets in the ring he does more running then a jogger

Hatton has faster feet than Cotto and will find Malignaggi more. That's why I'm calling for a stoppage.

Usually Ricky uses his foot speed to stay inside and will work to the body and head quite effectively. Sure Hatton takes some solid shots, but thats the price you have to pay sometimes to get inside which Ricky has to do since he doesn't have the reach to box on the outside. Lazcano buzzed Ricky with 2 solid shots and Ricky never went down or even came close to and the haters make it seem like he was out on his feet.

If RH didnt have a solid chin he would've been KO numerous times. PM lacks the power to KO Hatton or keep RH at bay and will never be able to keep RH from getting inside, so he's going to lose.
Great points. Some people truly believe that Hatton has no skill. If you ever see him fight Ben Tackie or Vince Phillips or even the first 6 rounds against Urango, you'll be surprised at how well Hatton can box.

Also, Hatton has been buzzed like that many times - Phillips shook him to his boots, Magee dropped and hurt him, Collazo rocked him. People are just keen to focus on the negatives now. Its amazing how Hatton can win every round more or less and apparently look terrible because he took a couple of shots. I thought he boxed really well against Lazcano and got sloppy a couple of times.

The Tszyu fight required the 100mph mauling and close quarters trench war. Give Tszyu space and you're ****ing finished. Ask Zab Judah. Thats why i think Tszyu wouldve troubled Mayweather cos Mayweather wouldve allowed him space to find his range. Hatton didnt and thats why he won.

too bad malignaggi won't be able to exploit hatton's uncomfortableness with getting hit.
