i think we' entering a deeper debate which revolves around how high you value two opposing values - either people favour

      a) how accomplished the fighter is

      OR

      B) who thet fighter has beaten

personally i always thought that option A required more insight and knowledge about the sweet science and the fighter which is why casual fans love to point at a fighters record. bear in mind the fact that this is one of the biggest boxing forums on the net so it has plenty of casual fans.

Joe has fought a long line of mediocrity.
        I never said I was a fan.
        EVER.
        Now answer my question numbnuts.

By the way whether Roy deserves it or not he brings $ and easy $ at that for Joe.
i answered it 5 times already dude. your bashing the past 3 years of roys career. yet your sitting here saying its for the money ok i can believe that. but now dont diss roy when calz isnt taking a younger better fighter than roy. diss calz for it. come out and say that calz is ducking pavlik bc pavlik wanted the fight. your is so shot yet he getting a fight a younger fighter who is hungry and wants the big fights. dont diss roy for doing what calz is doing now.

sorry should ave elaborated on option B - which is basically who that fighter has beaten but also who that fighter has lost too. its basically the fighters record.

most fans who favour option A are more likely to have calzaghe top of the p4p tree than pacman, most fans who favour option B are more likely to favour pacman.

            Hey Expert.
Are you telling me you saw Roy perform like he could beat a guy like Calzaghe in the last 3 years?
What did he do in style against quality opposition?
Was he showing the old timing and reflexes?
Was he showing Power and confidence?
Was he showing speed and guile?

i agree but im saying this bc these calz nuthuggers are dissing roy for not fight top 10 fighters and they said bc roy isnt. ok he hasnt fought that top comp yet. so than why should calz take a fight with a fighter who is not only in the top 10 but a guy who hasnt fought a top 10 fighter in the past 3 years. thats what im saying. i know anymore its all about money. but than dont sit here and diss roy for it when calz is about to do it when there are top 10 fighters there who wants to fight.

no he is not saying that. but again why doesnt calz be a true p4p king and fight someone in the top 10 unlike roy did. roy is not top 10 (your words not mine). so why bash roy for something calz is going to do in september. there where guys out there roy could have fought that is in the top 10 but those same guys are there now for calz.
