i love roy. he is my favorite all time, but truth be told, he has lost his killer instinct. i believe it has everything to do with gerald mcclellan getting messed up and he doesn't want to hurt people. unlike some superstar boxers, roy has a big heart. he could have taken out tito, but pulled back. he could have taken out david telesco, but prefered to embarrass him with huge wide swinging roundhouses instead of finishing him.
I hope he puts it all together against Calzaghe and knocks his ass through the ropes, but I don't see that happening. The one encouraging thing is that he said pre-Hopkins-Calzaghe that B-Hop needed a KO based on Calzaghe's workrate and he knew that a close fight would go to Joe on the cards. If he listens to his own expert analysis, he should know to go for the KO if he wants to win. If he does manage to knock him out, it will be from a perfectly placed counter, not from an aggressive barrage...Comment

You could very well be right. RJJ may never be champ again. We don't know that. That's why they get in that ring. I just want to see the fight. Personally, I thought RJJ should have retired after the Ruiz fight but he is still here. Can Cal destroy him and send him into retirement. Destroy? Probably not but I think he wins closer than you guys expect. The more I read, the more I want RJJ to win. This is kind of like when Barrera handed Hameds butt to him.Comment

than why is calz doing it than. **** the money if roy has no right to be messing with calz than all calz had to do was say no to the roy jones fight and fight someone else. he is fighting roy he excepted the fight roy made the challenge roy called him out. if roy has no biz fight calz than why does calz do it??? when again he had a fight with pavlik on the table. if you come on here saying bc pavlik is to much of a threat and calz just wants the money than calz is ducking a non shot fighter.Comment
