**** no! u can even ask joe that. everyone still loves a good roy jones fight. especially since it's been years since he's been in with a world champ and real quality opponent. and im not talkin bout a blown up and predictable trinidad either. the people want to see what he can do with calzaghe, a man who's just starting a make a big name for himself here in the states, and a man that dethroned hopkins. outside of floyd, roy is pretty much the last superfighter that this country has, and of course there's still tons of belief in him. if not then this thread wouldnt be as active as it is.

A couple of things that you are misinformed or willfully ignorant about:

1) Roy Jones Jr. chose not to knock out his last three opponents. If you watch the fights you will see that. He is getting his stamina back up to standard so that he can go a full fight with a real fighter (ala Joe Calzaghe, although he's hardly a real fighter...he's top two p4p by the experts so...).

2) Roy Jones has 100x the power, skill and ring generalship of Joe Calzaghe. Like Hopkins, if Roy wants he can make anyone that gets in the ring with him look bad with his blazing handspeed, tricks and superior ability.

3) Joe Calzaghe almost got knocked out by a 44 year old Hopkins and if Hopkins had been active at all he would have won the fight. What does that say about Joe Calzaghe?

4) You're a ****ing hater.

So when you put all this together you'll see that Roy Jones Jr. is just as good as anyone to take the titles of Calzaghe's weak ass, woman slapping, ***** street mascot back.
