Whats ****** about what you are saying is that the biggest ACTUAL THREATS in Mayweathers career throughout the last few years were Margarito, Hatton and Judah. Judah was the most prominent threat, its easy to think about it now, but i can remember that being a dream matchup i 02/03 when mayweather moved to 135 and judah was at 140. In late 05 that dream was a reality, in 06 january it fell right in the ****ing drain.

You are essentially saying that when mayweather got p4p and held it that he fought 0 threats. Thus you are refuting those who thought oscar might win, Who thought Hattons pressure would overwhelm floyd (a thought that really gained steam after the tszyu win and mayweather was prepping for gatti) and your only legit claim would be Margarito and Cotto.

But since i know you have only been following the 130/135/140 division for likely only the last couple of years, and dont tell me have because i know you havent, the only legit threats that were really viable, mayweather fought them all EXCEPT, Tszyu, Freitas and Casamayor.

But do you at least understand where im coming from? Talent alone will only get u so far. When u have fans actually paying to see you perform, they want to be able to relate and admire you. 2. Whoever holds that hypothetical title must indeed prove it every time or lose it. It's not a real title that you hold until you lose.

3. Only what you've done for the past year or two should ever count. "P4P" is not a career achievement award. That's why Roy, Holyfield, Toney, and Oscar don't top the list. (Exhibit A: A certain LHW who is 2-3 in his last five can't get near any such respectable list).
