I suppose Wlad has a chin of iron then?

i was just surprised at how much lower hasim's ko rate was. even though hasim is not a come forward slugger you'd think in a 10 round fight he'd still be able to land his bomb right hand.

i understand oliver because he's had a ton of fights when he was no longer at his best.
They might be harder and all, but as it is left hook is a much more dangerous(especially in HW division) weapon than a cross, mainly because it is much harder to see.
Still, Brewster always struck as much more of a headhunter then Rahman or McCall.

Lewis took a fair amount of solid shots throughout his career.

To be honest, I'm not too confident in Wladimir's 'chin' (stamina/nerves/whatever you want to call it) but he is erasing those doubts with every fight of his.
When you get knocked out 2 times almost back-to-back like Wladimir did against Brewster and Sanders, there have to be some doubts, he was also knocked down 3 times by Peter but got up to win a decision and has not been down since.

As of now I would say that Lewis is more durable.

well i know a overhand right or cross does different shock to the brain than a left hook but i don't know if much more dangerous.

louis' ko's came mainly from his right. (though joe had perfect everything hook , cross , uppercut , etc.)

rocky did his damage with suzie q.

lennox did his with his overhand.

shavers overhand right could knock over a volkswagen.

            hmmm.....

then of course liston , frazier , tua , etc. did their damage with the hook.

            i don't know......

He knew his only chance was to KO Lewis. So he gained weight and put on muscle....it didn't work.

if it was intentional.....it was a bad move.

i know he was showing off his legs at pre-fight and they were huge and looked like he can legpress a honda but......the extra weight slowed him down imo.

the 220 lb. tua would've done better.

                    That was James Butler.

Etienne is in jail for robbery, car*******, kidnapping and attempted murder.

Wlad has the better chin. He's never been KOed, just TKOed.

His losses to Purrity and Brewster came his gassing, not from their punches.
