Actually in a way this is true for the average fighter in the Phillipines.
What happens is Thai promoters get bums to fight good Thai prospects and build there records with flashy ko's by Pinoy imports.

Funny how the good Pinoy fighters never go to Thailand, but hordes of guys looking for a check do.

Check out some of the bantam, superbantam, fly, and super fly stars on boxrec that are from Thailand or wherever and you will see a lot of Pinoys imported over to lose to Thais.

It's a not so secret, dirty little secret.

I don't condone what they do in Thailand I think it's miserable, but a lot of times boxing matches are on the tail end of Muay Thai matches which are packed with people and the betting on every punch and kick looks like something out of the Deer Hunter.

There will not be another Pacquiao. There can be another Filipino boxing star. Maybe a 2x division champ.

Philipine boxing will be still alive but not as great with Pac.
        The US have Ali.

I remember Nacho Beristain wanted to train Jaca after the Marquez-Jaca fight. I don't know why Caca didn't even bother to show interest.

if he improves he might not get any more fights......

to make money in boxing you have to be very beatable or very good.

which one is he more likely to achieve?

that's why they have so many guys nicknamed 3k battery?
They get sponsored by a company called 3k Battery, so they use 3k Battery as their ring names.
