De La Hoya did pretty low for him, with Rocairdo Mayorga. Who's actually a relatively big name.

He did less than 700,000 (if memory serves). Nonetheless, for him that is relatively low.

Point being, no matter HOW BIG of a draw you are, you need another guy to make the fight interesting. Thinking about it, for the views it MAY have gotten, and the murdering that took place, it's about where it should have been. Seeing as how it wasn't very competitive. Exciting, but not evenly matched.

the judah/baldomir fights were between 325k and 350k respectively, which is on par with everyone not named oscar.

but somehow i doubt it was 175k, considering the dubious source.
                floyd did 325k against baldomir.

if this fight does 200k not bad in comparison.

big difference with the little guys. people follow welter and to middle more.

plus floyd is american. manny is a foreigner.

200k is not bad for fighting a non-big name and lighter weight classes.

Floyd never did below like 310,000 which is Baldomir Gatti was like 340,000 and i think Zab was like 375,000.

It really depends on what Pacquiao is getting paid 200,000*$50 is $10,000,000.

Also Bob Arum does not release PPV numbers, PPV numbers usually take like 2 weeks to get early numbers and a more accurate usually higher number when the quarter ends for HBO . You can also go to the Nevada State Athletic Comission because all purses must be disclosed, this include PPV upside which can not be known without the real number but this takes time a month atleast not a couple days.
