Because Valero wants to be able to fight here, and more importantly it isn't ideal for American TV.

valero will be too strong for the pacman he might knock pacman out killing the chance to fight guzman.

But at least pacman got a belt at lightweight so he acheived a great feat already even if he loss to Valero.

Valero is like miranda the guy can stop you with 1 punch.
