seen valero vid clips and he looks good against the level of compitition he's faced. but pacs on a higher level. i'm not saying its a mismatch but feel that even on a bad night pacquiao is going to have fun with valero.
    It will be at 135lbs...
And I totally agree on what you just said...
Valero's fighting **** actors in Japan... and the night before the fight those boxers are all spent screwing Japanese women... so, there's no more energy to fight Valero...
I aint be surprise if Pacman KO Valero in rd. 1....

It will just be a waste of time for Manny and he is not getting any younger. Why waste his time for such a fight? It won't prove anything than just add another victory for Manny.

What he should do is just wait for the winner of Cambell-Guzman or Casamayor and Marquez, then move up to 140 and challenge the winner of Hatton-Malignani then move up again to 147 to fight the winner of Cotto-Margarito-Dela Hoya.

After that he could retire as the only 6 Division Champion in the history of boxing by 2009!!!
Yeah... you're exactly correct on that one...
But the thing is everyone has a fight on September I think... And Manny wants to be busy, so Valero came up and besides he's been calling out Pacman for quite sometime... he just made his death wish...

Those boxers Valero fought are nothing, they are just Japanese **** actors...
How many boxers you recall that Valero fought except for Mosquera? Name them... now use the internet or youtube for the answers...

First of all Valero hasn't fought anybody except Mosquera, where Edwin got dropped. Yes, he won by KO but it took him past the 2nd round. Around 8-10 rounds or something.

I think Manny can wait/prepare until December. That would give the winner of Cambel-Guzman or Casa-Marquez enough time to heal their wounds and prepare.

Also should Valero be able to KO Manny by the slimmest chance he got, it will turn to a trilogy which would spoil the fights with the Winner of Cambel-Guzman/Casa-Marquez/Hatton-Malignani and will probably be the leading candidate for the upset of the year. It really is a high risk no gain fight for Manny.

Manny will be turning 30 this December and should Valero won either by SD or KO we can expect the fights with Casa-Marquez/Campbel-Guzman/Hatton-Malignani to happen in 2010 where Manny will be 31 or 32 already and past his prime... Worst it may never happen at all.

                boxings fans confuse me

I get so confused by some of you guys
are peopel actually asking why Manny should fight Valero
but at the same time critize floyd for not fighting Margarito.
have you guys been reading your own posts?

I also can't belive people want to see Guzman Vs Manny. Why?
Guzman was exciting before getting on board with Floyd Sr.
on top of that who the hell is Guzman compared to Manny?
seariously ask yourself. a no action, dancer, who has a record that
                cant even compare to Pac-Man's.

At least Valero brings excitment. brings danger, aside being a former titlist
                with a devasting Knockout Record.

Questioning this fight makes me seariously realize the problem with boxing
                its so called fans!

Crazed promoter Arum has nothing to lose but Pac does

Pac should stay at lightweight, 140 and up is too big for him. There are tough fights at lightweight, but the bigger guys will end his career. Crazed fans and greedy promoters back off! Pac vs DLH, Cotto, Margarito, Hatton, etc? Forget it! (well, maybe Hatton on a bad night . . .)

Some of the posters here, can't wait for their boy to fight Pacman...
My take, let Pacman fight on all comers...
They keep on talking about Valero's power... did they forget Pacman's?
And besides, Pacman got a lot smarter sticking to the plan... executing them... they call it sweet science right? So, he's executing... executing his opponents...
Valero, doesnt even know how to spell science...

Pacman, will KO Valero on any given day, twice on Sunday...
