i think valero and his people saw the fight with old barrera and marquez and thought manny is beatable.

when they saw the diaz fight last weekend.......their opinions were somewhat changed.

    i believe the story.

i think they'll fight next year.

the pavlik-taylor rematch didn't do too well even though the 1st was a great fight.

that's why arum wanted to wait for that rubber match with marquez.

what did you think of marquez turning down the original rematch in '04 then?
      Bad management.

ok... so if its the management team who doesnt want the fight to happen yet.. is it still considered ducking?

At this point in time, I consider it negotiating for leverage.

            very true.

ignacio is a great trainer but a bad manager.

arum has been doing this since he promoted the jack johnson-stanley ketchel fight.

ignacio should've known not to turn down $750 k. that's a ton of money at featherweight and he would've beat manny in a immediate rematch.

juan ma is very lucky he got to recover from the john loss.

He never said he looks easy all he said was hes careless which you cant be with pacman its just common sense.
I believe valero doesnt want it at the moment he needs to get tested and when he does he will lose his 0.

i dont know does valero have room for improvement ?
imo his talent is p4p lvl not in terms of skill but of mad punching power
i think valero can improve and get more experience smart call by his promoters even if its indeed cowardly

Valero has been in Manny's fights and post conferences, made a couple of home videos calling out Pacquiao. If I was Valero I'd punch my manager in the face for saying that and blowing his oppurtunity to fight Pac. But he didn't did he? Well actually I don't know...I hope Valero is busting his ass right now as we speak. Now if I don't hear Honda being confined in a Hospital....that just means Valero agreed with it and he's therefore a *****.

                    what leverage does valero have?

we don't even know if he'll get approved to fight in vegas.

manny can fight the guy soto "LOST" to in vegas and still make as much money as a fight with valero in texas would.

if they're trying to pull leverage they have none.
