Chavez quit and he refused to acknowledge that HE was the one who made the decision to QUIT!

First off, you sound like you don't know **** about boxing or at least have a personal grudge with Chavez.

The man was a shell of his former self when he never came off the stool, you can't hold him acountable for that. He shouldn't even have been in the ring with DLH at that time let alone fight all the way through.

I will admit I was disapointed in what happened but Chavez wasn't the same man who had those great battles in his prime. It's like saying Sugar Ray Leonard was a bum because he lost to Donny LaLonde, come one.....

Second, if you have never fought you don't understand the pride these guys have. Fighters NEVER think they lost or at least lost as bad as people think. They always thinks they have more left in them and thats why they continue way to far in their careers.

Give Chavez a break, the man was a legend and one of the greatest fighters in the history of the sport. He fought alot to stay busy but also fought the best and won.

"In the warrior's code there's no surrender. Though his body says stop, but his spirit cries NEVER!".

So to answer your question...no, no they don't.

Any of you who reply factually, from either side, is being played.

This topic was made to infuriate Mexican fans, in a war that is going on between the guy who made the thread (anti-Mexican) and the guy with the "Latin King" avatar (anti-Puertorican).

As a Puertorican, I don't promote that kind of hate, so I won't really comment on what was said about Mr. Chávez. I'm just commenting on what's really going on here.

el dia que te esten dando una catimba y que tu en tu humilde opinion sepas que no aguantas el empuje....diras no mas... no significa que no seas guerrero si no que reconoces tus limites...

I just wanted to know if that was consistent with "aztec Warrior" I think it showed quit.. As a Mexican I was surprised.

I had a debate at work against a PR who pointed out that Camacho never quit nor did any PR champ. Pissed me off..
