Haye said after beating Enzo that he was taking time off, if he takes himself off the market for 12 months why the hell is anyone gonna bother trying to make a fight after 6?

I believe he said he would come back in December (end of year?), now it appears that for an easy mark like Monte Barrett he can make an October date.

Instead of asking me why guys arent lining up to fight him why dont you list the names of fighters that have turned down reasonable offers to fight haye in his country on his terms.

joe frazier , ken norton , george foreman , muhammad ali and larry holmes all turned down haye.

inquiries were made to jack johnson , rocky marciano , max schmelling , gene tunney , jack dempsey and joe louis but no response was received.

How could anyone hate on a knock out fighter? The most exciting fighters in boxing. It sounds more like you have a person problem with him then anything else.

As far as i can tell i have done nothing but criticize Haye for doing the opposite of what he said he was going to do.

When i say im going to do something in real life and then do an about face and take the easy way out i usually endure some criticism for it.

I apologize to David Haye, my observations are probably more dangerous to him than Monte Barrett

i love the short and selective memory of boxing fans.

haye guys think haye will take over the heavy and they try to not bring up haye getting knocked out by a small cruiser.

wlad guys say haye has no chance in hell of beating wlad but they seem to forget that haye is as good if not better than the 3 guys that have koed wlad.

last night was a great example......3 months ago manny was the the #2 super featherweight at best after "losing" to juan ma and after 1 win at 135 he's now #1 p4p in the world.

But come on, it looks like your looking for an excuse to dis on the guy. It's not like he just fought a top ten Heavy and now wants to take a step back and fight Barret. If anything, fighting only two HW's before Wlad is not the way to go anyway. Fighting Barret first is not a bad idea. If he turns into another Fields (fighting only bums) then I can see justification for hatin on the guy. Just my opinion.

I have a problem with loudmouths, even the ones who do back in up i tend to dislike. Haye on other hand wrote a bunch of checks with his mouth that he wasnt interested in letting his fists cash, i think he looks ******.

Im not going to take it easy on him because i said all along that this is what he would do, its my turn to talk.

Let me play the devil's advocate here, Barrett sure isn't a world beater but he's a decent fringe contender nonetheless. For his Haye's second fight as a hw, I don't see it as being such a travesty as you guys are making it...
