This thread has turned from comparing Pac to Chavez, which is utterly absurd, to comparing his wins against Mayweathers. This came about because of a dominant performance over Diaz?

These are all comparisons that were bound to be made eventually if Pacquiao continues the hotstreak he is on, with or without dominating Diaz. Is the comparison being made prematurely?? Definitely. But out of line or absurd?? I think not. Its no different than the floyd being an ATG threads

Well yeah that's bad too, and comparing Pacquiao to JCC isn't that bad (even though it's bad), but saying that JCC beat no one...

True, just cuz a fighter wins belts in more weight divisions does not mean he's accomplished more than another fighter.

Pac has still got about 50 to 60 fights to achieve Chavez status. About a fight a month for the next few years and he may come close.

Go check out exactly who Chavez beat. You may learn something a great fighter. Whether or not he beat a bunch of bums throughout his career cannot take away from the fact he also beat a massive slew of really great fighters. A lot of them.
