    135-WBA-WBC Lightweight Championship (defeated Rosario&Ramirez)
    140-WBC-IBF Lightwelterweight Championship (defeated Mayweather&Taylor)
You have completely lost it. Chavez is a top 20 all time greatest fighter. One of the very best who ever liived. Pac is not even half way to chavez. The man struggled with Agipito Sanchez and beat ring worn names. Pac moved up because he couldn't make weight, Chavez moved up because he cleaned divisions out. Damn, I knew pac's fans would overrate Pac, but DAMN!!! lol.........

      This is well said.

I also agree wholeheartedly with Warp, this thread is right at the top of the saddest things at boxingscene right now.

Neither myself nor blackirish compared Pacquiao to JCC sr. nor does the context of overrated" stem from the comparison stated by the threadstarter

besides, Barrera had a totally different style by the time he fought Pacquiao. Look at the difference between Barrera in the first Morales fight, and look at him in the 2nd. much, much different fighter.

regardless, the MAB win for Pacquiao was huge. MAB wasnt dead prime, but he was still pretty close. Pacquiao's first win over Barrera is probebly the most impressive win from any top fighter in the sport today. and that includes Mayweather.
I agree with your post with the exception of the comment about Mayweather. The way Floyd beat chico up is lightyears ahead of any performance Pac put up against any top fighter.

But some morons here thinks it because Pac hasn't fought a lot of fighters which to me is MOOT when it comes to acquiring greatness. JCC fought a lot of great fighters but it cannot be denied that he fought a lot of bums that padded his record.

There's already a lot of coomplaining from critics whenever Pac fights average level fighters.....how can someone expect him to pad his record.....lol.

Anyway it's just a question and it didn't come from pinoyland.....lol.
You have me confused. You have J.M.M in your Avatar, and then you have him with a scarf on lol. I don't get it. lol What's that about?

Its a running joke implying Marquez is a panzy when held up to the mexican warrior mentality with his history of turning down fights and backing up and counterpunching as opposed to going to war

Just to see where you're coming from. The way I see it is that it was just as savage 1 sided beating. The difference being Mayweather essentially gave chico an education while pacman essentially mugged ledwaba
