Let's have some pride in our fighters damn. It's like because Pacquiao beat some of our better fighters and basically sent them to retirement we don't have any pride in our own.

Julio Diaz got back to winning this week and Abner Mares put on a clinic on Solo Boxeo and had the whole ballroom rocking, but you fools are on here jocking Manny Pacquiao like he was the second coming of the Messiah. At this point I'd rather even talk about Margarito (who I still think is overrated) and his chances of beating Cotto than get on the Pacquiao bandwagon that all my fellow Mexicans seem to be driving harder than any Filipinos.

hey of course i am a fan of all mexican fighters but i am also a fan of true warriors from around the world. i have to give pac his props because at least now we have a p4p champion that everyone finally recognizes and hes a fighter i can be proud of because he gives the fans a great knockout everytime.

I'm going to tell you something alright. When I was 18 or 19 I used to post on MaxBoxing just about everyday. I enjoyed it. Then it got to be so cliquish and they kept trying to ban me for saying that Erik Morales was shot, that Zab Judah was my favorite boxer and that Floyd Mayweather would beat Oscar De la Hoya if they ever fought. This is a true story.

They said, that I didn't hate on another site enough and that I wasn't loyal enough to MaxBoxing. So, I stopped posting at that board. I knew they were going to ban me anyway...so whatever right. The head of the board still owes me an autographed Joan Guzman glove, but whatever right. Dirty water under the bridge.

Basically, what went wrong with MaxBoxing, from my perspective, is that it stopped being a place where people could just disagree. I was partly to blame for that. When they asked me to join the Coalition here at BoxingScene I agreed because basically what the Coalition is about is not letting people do what happened at MaxBoxing. If a group of 5-10 Mayweather haters are going to constantly post bad about Mayweather then 5-10 Coalition members will defend that position and Floyd Mayweather. That's a fair debate.
But you clearly don't want a debate. You want to be right and for everyone to believe you're right. Grow up.
