stfu. i respect mexican fighters. they are warriors and that would remain that way as long as there is boxing. u say u represent ur mexican fighters but when they get defeated u call them shot or lesser opponents. well let me ask u can u name a young mexican who can defeat barrera,morales or even knock jmm on his ass. no other young prospects has ever done that. so stfu give the man the credit and stop ****ing whining about it. pac has been giving us great fights.

I think Julio Diaz and Abner Mares are good fighters. If you disagree then I suggest you watch them fight next time.

But the point is that Mexicans by and large clearly hated Mayweather. Fine, but now that he's retired who cares!?! Really, who cares anymore? Fine, Pacquiao beat another Mexican...good for him. There's a Dominican, Cuban and African-American who he should have fought this weekend over that Mexican. But since Pacquiao beat some great Mexicans all of a sudden the Mexicans who hated Mayweather feel the need to take a victory lap over Pacquiao's victory last night. That's ******.

If you really care about fighters, you'd probably agree with me that Guzman, Casamayor and Campbell would have been much better opponents for Pacquiao to really prove he's number one.

I like boxers who happen to be Mexican, I just don't like them strictly BECAUSE they are Mexican.

Furthermore, I do NOT really care for Nate Campbell. Though I'm a huge fan of Guzman and Casamayor, I think it about evens itself out.

I think Mexicans like exciting fighters who go for the kill all the time, to generalize. Mayweather doesn't or didn't do that on a consistent basis towards the end of his career. Whereas, Manny does.

Nothing wrong with liking a certain style of fighter.

im not mexican (obviously if you look at the avatar) and i like mexican fighters and think manny pacquiao is a very good fighter who deserves to be considered best p4p in the world (especially since floyd is "retired")...

i have no bias either way.

i think when a fighter wins a fight (no matter the level of competition) the fans (of winning fighter) act as if their guy is the best in the world...no matter if it was a MAJOR PPV fight or a tuneup fight on ESPN...

I think too many people make a big deal about the diaz/pacquaio fight (he did take one of if not THEE weakest titleholders in the division...rather than look for a tougher opponent...but it was his first lightweight fight so i can understand)...but the win shouldnt be made THAT big of a deal of...yes it was a great performance...so was mayweather's win over hatton...

but you cant compare diaz to pacquiao like you cant compare mayweather to hatton...

the matchups are fair...not challenging enough to those like mayweather and pacquiao who are obviously very talented fighters...

does this mean pacquiao isnt legit as a top fighter? of course not...he DOES have quality wins over top competition in the past...

neither pacman fans nor mexican fans should be angry/unhappy or jumping bandwagons...each side should have plenty to be proud of.

Yeah my point: Mora is STILL an aztec, with the VERY same bloodline. HAd he been mixed that would be different. But I think MEXICANS need to claim ALL their fighters.
