Why do people need to justify to themselves who is better with loaded polls and questions?

Why does it matter who thinks who is better?

Why do people keep making threads comparing the best in the sport to someone that retired?

Why do people feel the need to bash on a retired fighter?

Why not just move on and cherish Manny while he is around? Why does Floyds name keep comming up in your threads and polls?


If Manny is so great why so many polls that seek to validated a point of view where you already know who will agree with you and who will not?

barrera , morales or erik fans do have a reason to hate. manny beat fighters that they support. there's a rivalry there and it's understandable. i doubt they really believe most of what they say.

i doubt the floyd fans that are bashing pacquiao or denegrating his achivements are barrera , morales , juan ma supporters. they just don't like manny being #1 p4p because that was floyd's thing.

the mexican fans i can understand because of the rivalry with pacquiao. kinda like the lakers fans still saying the celtics suck even though the celtics beat them.

the floyd fans minimizing pacquiao's achievements are just , simply put , HATING.

that's just my opinion and it doesn't apply to all obviously but that's what i think is the reason a few floyd guys are bashing the guy even though they're not really rivals nor would they ever fight.

No, its more like these people are focusing on the 3 or 4 ****ing idiots who dont wanna give pac his current due. Pacman may actually end up with a better resume than mayweather if he can clean out 135, however like i said, there is a unique focus from same people (tunney/2501/deeval/comeonmang etc) who will be quick to be just as foolish and judgemental as the floyd fans they are accusing of being. Its the same people doing the same thing on both sides. They polarize the situation because they want to continue to downgradea man who clearly ****d all of their mothers to the point where they must discuss him, his fans and his "lack of acheievements" what have you.

I don't think Pacquiao going up to 135 is as big of a deal as people make it out to be. First, dude has weighed 140 lbs. on fight night since the Agapito Sanchez fight. Second, dude struggled with Agapito Sanchez and got KO'd by quite two no name 112 pounders. If that were Floyd, people like you, 2501, would make constant mention of it. Since it's Pacquiao you willfully ignore (or more likely didn't even watch the Agapito Sanchez fight live).

But either Pacquiao or Calzaghe deserves to be #1 P4P right now. I know you're going to say that hypocritical because you're ****ing ******ed and can't understand the complexities of my argument. I'll watch the fight on replay and probably be further convinced that if JM Marquez were Pacquiao's size that he'd beat Pacquiao, but whatever.
