Floyd ruined Ricky.
Ricky's chin and confidence died iin the ring that night. Along with the hopes of all of Ricky's desperate little fans. -
The same thing happened to Hatton against Collazo, didnt it? and that was before the Mayweather fight. Collazo isnt exactly a huge puncher either, in fact hes kind of the opposite.

Must have affected him psychologically. He was unbeaten going into that fight and it was built up a lot. Getting knocked out on the world stage can't be good.
Add to that his lifestyle which many say has caught up with him.
Still, he's a pretty damn good boxer still and I disagree about the Lazcano fight. He was hurt but he wasn't about to get KO'd again. I found it amazing that Lazcano managed to stay on his feet after the shots Hatton was getting in.
So all in all, Floyd didn't ruin Hatton. He just tainted him, I guess.Comment

The only thing Floyd did was show everyone how open Hatton is for a check hook.

I think Ricky has been on somewhat of a slide for a while now. I think his lifestyle more than anything will shorten his career. It is a shame because he has some of the best offensive footwork I have ever seen in any fighter.
He'll beat Paulie though. Paulie's gonna get mauled
