Surely the #1 P4P fighter doesn't need propping up by anyone.

Am sorry but Hatton isnt on the same level as Pacman P4P, Hatton struggle to move up because he isnt any good. Pacman didnt beat the number one guy at 135 he beat fought the easiest titleholder at 135, Am not trying to take anything away from Pacman because his performance was brilliant last night but when you have a slow fighter who is just following you about then thats what happens with speed.

I can recall a large number. People are all-too quick to forget how Pacquiao looked against Marquez just one fight previous ("dominating" in no way comes to mind to describe it). We need to see him fight one of the top fighters at 135 before generating even more hype.

Exactly he had a great performance last night but he was fighting David diaz, not the top guys at 135.

I'd say that Hopkins-Tito was pretty solid. Winky's shut out of Tito was pretty good as well. Look at most of Mayweather's they were prolly better and against better opposition. JMM's draw with Manny, that was a sick performance by JMM, he out boxed him pretty badly after being KD 3 times. Your pretty ridiculous if you think that was the best of the decade.

It was great to watch, a total shut out, an amazing preformance...but it wasnt against a top 135, granted he was a champ but he was the weakest champ.

Taking nothing away from Pac-Man though, he was amazing, especailly considering the weight factor and he had said more than once in the build up it was hard to get motivated for someone like Diaz
