Yeah i don't understand why he ducked all these Middleweights, i mean he'd rather stay at SMW and call out Calzaghe. That Mirando fella sounds good though.

      i agree.

he's not a bum by any means but he's not going to do anything against taylor; let alone pavlik.

I see taylor winning a pretty comfortable UD from him (in the neighborhood of 8 rounds to 4 rounds).

BUT...EVEN IF...froch were to get lucky and beat taylor pavlik would kill him.

Froch says he'd "KO taylor and then pavlik"...taylor has a good chin...if he can break that he should take his win and run...because that isnt going to happen a second time against someone like pavlik who has a steel chin and a TON of strength behind his punches.

i would bet all my points and $500 (in real money) that says froch wouldnt KO taylor AND pavlik...it WILL NOT HAPPEN...

i havent got a clue,as to whether froch could he sell massively if its ppv..? perhaps some englishmen could answer this.. it should be easy to sell, with taylor being well known. how would you assume such a fight would sell in britain..?

if froch could do high numbers in ppv, then there would some money to make the fight happen..

they could possibly sell it, in the shadow of the hopkins loss, somthing like the last european took care of hopkins, is taylor the next in line..

with high ppv sales in britain, maybe even stage it there and have a sell out crowd, the money should be able to match taylor-lacy

Froch can sell upto 6-8000 tickets fighting absolute nobodies, although this is in our hometown. I'm sure if Taylor was to come to England, they could easily do 25,000+.

PPV however i'm not so sure about. I think Hatton and Calzaghe are the only two British boxers who can do PPV with success.

It probably wouldnt make it to PPV over here. We rarely have PPV fights unless its Hatton.

Lou's comments about UK fighters are strange....... the way is, you're expected to win British, Commonwealth, European then go for World titles... that's the way it works. It's like someone moving up from area titles as they learn their craft.

Is everyone who practices boxing around the world expected to make their pro debuts in America?

                OK let's do the math'

                Lacy got destroyed by Calzaghe
Froch and Calzaghe would make a good fight
Froch vs Taylor would be an easier fight for Froch.

Lacy vs Taylor....WTF???? who the **** want's to see that? come on who's he kidding..Lacy vs Taylor would bring PPV my ****ing arse.

                =

Taylor camp ducking Froch and running scared.

Nobody said anything about Lacy/Taylor being PPV...

As for Taylor's camp ducking Froch because they're scared, that is bull****. Taylor is one of the ballsiest fighters in today's game when it comes to who he steps into the ring with.

For anyone to think that Dibella is lying about this being a money issue... why would a promoter lie when it comes to the fact that they want to make money? That this is ultimately a business? That's about as honest as it gets. He didn't spew a bunch of BS about Froch not being a good fighter, or worth being in the same ring as Taylor (a la Enzo/Pavlik), he is just saying the name recognition MAY not be there to make it a good business decision. And he's probably right.

Taylor's promoter has just shown about as much intelligence as the average euro hating posters of boxing scene...very little.

Seriously, who the **** is this guy to belittle our boxing nations when he wants to put a good fighter like Taylor in with a bum like Lacy. He's a hypocrite. America does not own the WORLD boxing titles, they are WORLD boxing titles, not American boxing titles. America is where the money is at, so that is where the titles are at, simple as.

America has a monopoly over boxing and every aspect needs to be reformed for boxing to once again be a great sport. This ****ing **** is a pantomime. Froch deserves his shot at the best, if he is not good enough and gets beaten so be it, but at least people can't accuse our fighters of ducking and avoiding, when the reality is our fighters would love to fight the best and prove themselves but the the truth is the opportunity does not come round very often.

Calzaghe has the right to give Pavlik a miss and fight RJJ for the payday he has been waiting his whole career for, Taylor does not. He is relatively young, has years ahead of him, and has all the tools to beat Froch, but if his promoter would rather put him in with the most overated peice of of **** this decade has ever seen, then he does not deserve another shot at the belt for a long time.
