Styles make fights, that probably might happen but that doesn't mean Calzaghe would automatically beat Pavlik if Abraham is the one to do it.




He beat Miranda quicker then Pavlik did, he obviously is showing that pressure fighters don't do that well against him... What is Kelly Pavlik? Pavlik is a pressure fighter, a great one but Abraham doesn't need all this hate he hasn't even had as much experience in the professional ring as Pavlik just yet and he looks to be improving with each fight.

I personally think Pavlik destroys Abraham, Abraham's offense is dictated by his D, in other words he has to wait for someone to stop throwing before he can get off, well Pavlik doesn't exactly take breaks. In fact he jabs you all night long while following with combos. Abraham fights short as well, throwing long wide punches, while Pavlik throws quicker straighter punchers. Pavlik is bigger and stronger then anyone Abraham has faced so far, he won't be able to throw his strength around at will on the other fighter. He will be hit more often and harder then he ever has. Pavlik hits to the body as well as the chin, so it isn't as if Abraham would have as much power late in the fight.

I'd say Pavlik has better abilities and footwork as well, Abraham is relentless. It really is an either way fight, but overall Pavlik is quite a bit more polished and has better technique. That peak a boo style will be a bit more difficult against a fighter like Pavlik who moves his shots up and down and has a vicious upper cut. If Abraham gets hurt end of fight, Pavlik is a much cleaner finisher. If Pavlik gets hurt I don't know that we can say the same look at the Taylor fight(although Abraham hits a ton harder). If it goes to the score cards Pavlik's busier style wins the fight.

Ive had enough of this talk about abraham being a p4p puncher and a excellent fighter.
What has this fighter proven? He can beat a wild miranda and expose his chin and his heart.
Dont get me wrong miranda had heart but i felt hes let it slip now that hes moved up in wieght and had a little bit of money.
How did abraham beat miranda? Easy hes the better boxer and miranda was fighting with emotions he wanted to hurt abraham and disrespect him thats why he didnt look at him when they went to touch gloves in round 1.
He caught miranda with a punch he didnt see because he was to open and to wild he got caught while trying to throw a combination then he gave up.
It stil gets me and sorta hurts me that miranda let abraham land that wild left hook 2nd kd it shud never have landed but it did with his full body wieght behind it.
