Joe Calzaghe beat Chris Byrd in the amateurs, but probably had about zero chance in hell of beating the HW version in the pros, I'm just guessing here, lol.

Pryor wouldn't beat any of them. If there was anyone he could beat, I would pick hearns. He beat Hearns in the amateurs, and style wise, he could elude hearns punches the way he did arguello. People think he could beat Sugar, but that is a bad style match up foir pryor.

I think he would of beat Hearns, Suger Ray, and just think Duran would of had to much for him!

I would like for one of these guys who say that he has his best chance against Duran to expand on that. I think its the opposite, his worst chance of winning would be against Duran, for reasons already given by 2 other posters on here.

He loses to all of them. The majority of the opinions in this thread are exactly right. I think Pryor is stopped by both Hearns and Duran, drops a decision to a cautious Leonard.

Well if Pyror fought Duran it would be at 140 and not 135, it is a 50/50 fight though you could not figure out who is the better man unless they really fought. No way is this a clear cut fight that is easy to pick a winner. This also depends on what year the fight takes place it could change dramatically based on that.

Leonard is the better boxer and he did have underated toughness i think he could decisions Pryor, I can not see either man stopping the other. Would be interesting though

Hearns it depends on where the fight is if it is an inside fight Pryor could win if Hearns can keep him on the outside for the most part of 15 rounds he would win. Could Hearns keep Pryor off him for 15 rounds and does Pyror have the power to crack Hearns chin once Hearns tires in the later rounds. This is the fight that is most likely to end in a knockout of the bunch either way.

Good solid answer, I still think they are hypothetical and if Hawk was at his best he could beat any of the three, dude hit hard and a had a rock solid chin, when he was knocked down it was off balance not hurt.

Hearns would have a hard time against a guy like Pryor, because he was so relentless. Leonard was scared of him straight up, Pryor fought with no fear, no respect, he was just out right tenacious. Duran would prolly give Pryor fits, or vice versa, Pryor had more ability then he used, he could duck punches, he could do a lot but always seemed to choose to fight, I am not going to the right, I am not going to the left, I am coming straight at you. Pryor also had beautiful combinations and was an amazing finisher, if he smelt fear or they were hurt he bounced in and out, he was also never stationary when he was finishing, he would move around and use his foot work.

Now I am by no means saying he'd win every time or even at all but the Hawk was impressive. I don't think anyone beats him down as bad as anyone says because the Hawk always returns fire, that is when he was at his best is when fighters came at him.

He would have beaten Hearns and Duran. Maybe not Duran, but I think Hearns-Pryor is the way better boxing Mayorga-Forrest.

He beat all of them in the amateurs, thats why they didnt want to fight him.
