That's interesting. I give him the complete opposite chance. I think, against Duran, he would be completely out-classed on the inside and basically be beaten up. He was just a bit too wild as an inside fighter and against a guy that fought so well, offensively and defensively, on the inside he wouldn't be able to land as well as he did against guys like Arguello or Cervantes. Duran would take him apart similar to the Palomino fight. Pryor was basically an inside-midrange fighter and no one beat Duran at that type of game. Too much defensive and offensive capabilities. UD.

I honestly believe that he would be brutally knocked out against Hearns. Pryor was not exactly a big guy and he ate a lot of right hands. That is what put him down most of the time. Even though he got up easily from most of them, against Hearns he would not. Hearns was too fast and had too much boxing skill to be either hurt or broken down by Pryor. He was just way too small to fight Hearns. KO.

Leonard, despite what most people think, had bigger fish to fry than Pryor and he would honestly beat him pretty easy anyway. Sticking a fast jab in the face of Pryor would beat him all night. He was underrated defensively and had half decent upper body movement but just did not have the skills to match up with Leonard. He would have needed to be able to slip the jab much better than he ever did, much like Duran was able to in the first Leonard fight. Pryor didn't have a slip and counter defense to get inside. He just bobbed and then threw wildly to get in. UD.

Why am I not surprised that a 6'1" Hearns was not at his best at 132 lbs?

Best chance he has is against Duran, Leonard and Hearns beat him.

Yea but Hearns had NO power in the am's bad even for an amateur. He had 2 stoppages in over 100 fights.

Hearns couldn't punch as an amateur either.

I know, I know. It was just a small indication of how it might go.
