None of those guys you mentioned were ever stopped before stepping up to HW. And Roy obviously wanted no part of Lennox Lewis or Vitali Klitschko, Moorer was beaten by a fat, 45 year old, Toney really didn't do too much at HW and Holyfield was beaten by inferior fighters like Bowe, because of the size difference.

So? Either a guy moving into the division should be ranked or he shouldn't. Whether they've been stopped before is not much of an issue. Pacquiao was stopped twice at flyweight but never at a heavier weight.

So I guess based upon that he shouldn't have been ranked by the WBA.

So the IBF were wrong to rank him, he obviously had no chance of beating their reigning champion.

Apart from giving an ultra close fight to the current WBC champ and drawing with a previous WBC champ in a title challenge that most scored in his favour.

So? Taken as a whole his career clearly shows that the step to heavyweight was the correct one, and he deserves to be ranked as an ATG of the division.

Well he won the title, so he must have been a worthy challenger!

well technically no. it all depends on how much the boxers involve cut weight.

if a guy at SFW cuts 15 lbs. to make 130 and a lw cuts 5 lbs. to make 135 , the sfw might be the naturally bigger fighter.

you're a cruiserweight if you can cut down to 200. a heavyweight is anyone 201 and over.

chris byrd when he was a heavy was about 210. haye as a cruiser weighed in at 200 but probably walks around at 225.
