That and Vasquez has probably slowed considerbly due to the Marquez wars. I'd bet points on Lopez too. Larios was managing to outbox Vasquez before he got caught in the 3rd and got a huge ass cut stopping the fight right away.

I fight between juanma and vas. would be action filled fight cause of vas. style comin forward all the time.. be excitin to watch would be a close fight to call cause it'll be a tough fight for juanma but my boy quick inside right hook is dangerous..

Well, Juanma said alot more in that interview about Mares, but he did say that Mares' career path has not developed in the manner that it has for Juanma... I think he has a point.

Ive been watching Mares for a while now, and besides the fact that he jumped back down to 118, I dont think that he can handle Juanma at this point in his career, he needs more exposure and experience.

Juanma mentioned that once Mares' career develops more and he gets the experience he needs, the fight is bound to happen.
