That's the way I see it too. Even though all three of their fight were great another one quickly I would just worry about their health because there is just no other way they can fight each other except all out. Plus I would like to see them against other opponents. Juanma is taking a big chance against Izzy because if Vasquez isn't all worn out from the Vasquez bouts he's gonna be in for a tough fight. Have to give him credit though if he does want to take on Vasquez though.
Juanma Lopez: "Ive spoken to Vasquez about a fight next June"

I feel like this would be a carbon of the Gonzalez fight, except Vazquez doesn't rally back to win. Juanma is an excellent boxer. I don't think this is even a situation where Israel's tenacity and experience come into play. He'd be a step slower all fight and the effects of those wars he had with Gonzalez, Marquez and Larios would start to show.
I want Juanma to beat the **** out of Caballero, a guy I feel should be competing at 126 or higher.Comment

You better watch out young buck, because you might ust get what you ask for. Vasquez is no Ponce. Iif you want to end up like David Reid, Vargas, Augie Sanche and to a lesser extent Meldrick Taylor, just keep on runnin your mouth so Izzy can shut you the **** up.According to a phone interview held with Juanma Lopez and Israel Vasquez on 6/24/08, they have spoken several times about the possibility of a fight in June 2009. Vasquez also stated that this fight is possible if the timing is right.
In the interview Juanma stated "I respect Vasquez and what he has done, but I would be the bigger man, and the stronger man. If I had to choose between Vasquez, Marquez, and Conception, I want Vazquez!"
Juanma was also asked about young Mexican prospect Abner Mares. Juanma stated "Abner Mares has not deserved a fight with me. I am ready for names of significance and Abner Mares is not that. Maybe in a couple years when he has developed his name in the boxing world."
Juanma is looking to defend his title sometime in the near future but did not specify against who or when.
Juanma was also asked about a rematch with Daniel Ponce Deleon and he stated "Daniel Ponce DeLeon hasn't expressed a desire to fight me again. If that is what the fans want to see, then we can do it, but I havent heard that anyone is interested in seeing a rematch considering that I got rid of him as quick as I did".

Yeah but Izzy is a ****in pit bull in the ring. He keeps on coming. Kind of like a young Trinidad (although I hate him) you can hit him with everything you got early, but you have to know that come later in the fight he is still throwing and if he touches you its over. Lets just say this, you must be willing to take a real ass whoopin to beat Vasquez.Comment

gotta respect his ambition and kudos for taking risks. when the boxers stopped taking risks, thats when boxing started going down hill. if he fights with heart and determination, he will win the people's support no matter if he loses.Comment
