I have news for you: Hopkins won that fight easily because he was much bigger than Tito. If none of you can see that it is much easier to box an effective fight when you have massive advantages, then thats your lookout, but I'm afraid that really is the way it was. Hopkins performed well, yes, but the reason for that was because his size made Tito's threat irrelevant.
I am neither pro nor anti Hopkins, I'm just giving my opinion on a boxing match I once saw. Stop crying because I don't share your opinion that it was some awesome, awe inspiring win.
I had been watching the X for years by the time he came on the seen against Tito. You are basically saying Tito couldn't adjust, because there are plenty of fighters who won bigger, stronger fighters then themselves, Whittaker did it. Foreman was bigger then Ali, James Toney has won a few against heavy weights and he started out as a middle weight. You just aren't that bright, it is disappointing but hey blame your folks, not us. Tito couldn't win because he was out boxed plain and simple.
You are saying that Hopkins jab was dictated by his size, it was to stiff lol you really need to look things over, Hopkins wasn't the bigger puncher. Tito couldn't adjust plain and simple, you can adjust for a size differential, but Tito never did, why have smaller fighters beat bigger stronger fighters before? If my memory serves me Trinidad walked around at a higher weight then Hopkins, Hopkins walked around at 168, Tito was 180ish. Hopkins is 2 inches taller, however Hopkins fights very short he tucks his head, he doesn't extend himself like most taller fighters. I guess his size made his boxing ability. Fact is Tito is a one dimensional fighter, he couldn't get to him regardless.
