Chavez jr vs Vanes - The fight between the protected bum slayers.
I would really like that fight, but I doubt they would make it.

154 is a weak division right now, but it wont be by the time Vanes has started moving up. I mean, by the time he enters his prime, the division will be full of guys like James Kirkland, Joel Julio, Anfredo Angulo, etc. + some of the great guys at 147 will have moved up.
    bad news for Vanes.

btw, does anyone have a stream for this? thought I had Versus, but its certainly gone...dont get it.

cant stand these commentators. Vanes was impressive to me tonight. showed a lot of poise and focus. wasn't getting fustrated with not being able to take his opponent out and boxed nicely.

Kirkland and Angulo need to fight a good boxer. Julio did and we all saw what happened, he got his ass shut out, although he's improved since.

Kirkland and Angulo fighting each other would be awesome, but dream on if you think that's gonna happen.

They both need to fight a solid pro with some pop, and Vanes does too.

Julio will probebly always have problems with boxers. didnt exactly cruise through Ishe, but I thought he deserved the win.
Although Julio was practically a teenager when he lost to Quintana, so I dont like to judge him too much from that fight.

Kirkland is going to be an irritation throughout his career. he goes in there bombing away, but hes so much more effective when he starts actually boxing and using a jab...that happened after he got dropped by that Vulture or Condor guy, he actually fought smart, and lightened up.
hes a beast though. I had no idea that he would blast thru Eromosele Albert like that. I expected that to be a tricky fight for him.

I like his uppercut too, he throws it from all types of different angles

I honestly was shocked when Kirkland blew through Albert like that.

Peterson impresses me more then Berto. There I said it. I think his defense is way better then Berto.

Angulo's last opponent was no bum and neither was Kirkland's. their last 2 fighters trump anyone Vanes has fought so far.

Kirkland is a certified pitbull. I wish he could fight every month.
