Alright, VERSUS just lost another point..

They showed the replay of the Huerta vs Hinojosa fight, but they aren't gonna show the replay of the Ortiz vs Clottey fight!?

That's the whole reason why I ****ing came here, to kill time until I can watch Ortiz/Clottey

      f$#%..

but if a rematch were to happen, there is a 0.1% of that happening again. being TKOed because of a shoulder injury should not reflect how durable you are, because chances are it wont happen again unless youve had the problem multiple times. as far as I know, that was a first for Trejo, and he had 0 problems with his shoulder in this fight.

Trejo lost by KO because of a shoulder injury. so that says nothing bad about his chin, mentality or his body durability. thats all.
OHHHH.....ok, since you put it that way i can dig that.

I agree with you that this was a proper test for Vanes, and that's he clearly ready for the next level. Guys on here are hard on him for whatever reason, but I see steady improvement with each fight. Hernandez is coming off of a minor upset, so tonight was a calculated "risk" by Top Rank. I'm sure we'll see bigger and better in his next fight and beyond and I look forward to continue covering his career.
Hernandez looked good on paper because he's been in against a lot of tough guys and gave them good fights. No dis*****g that. Martirosyan is a prospect and he's going to need the experience of going ten rounds against a guy who can take his punches.

Hernandez was that. He was like a flu vaccine of sorts, a dilluted version of a guy who can go ten rounds and use some veteran moves to try and take a young fighter out of his game. That said, Hernandez didn't bring much else to the table last night.

It was a good step up, I wouldn't call it a test but it makes Vanes a ten round fighter now. For that reason this was a step up and not a step to the sideways.
