Cortez should have been fined for that fight. Isn't there any regulatary body for boxing? boxing ref's should be monitored like football ref's.

Hatton would have lost anyway, but Cortez was an insult to the sport and referee's.

Even the Hopkins fight was a complete joke. There's a video on YouTube of Hopkins clearly headbuttin Calzaghe and Cortez with a birdseye view doesn't say anything.

You act as if Hatton doesn't receive biased treatment in his hometown fights! He could of shot Tsu in the head and it would been called a knock down.Ricky Hattons father could of been the referee for that bout and the result would of been the same.The gulf in class is far to great for any fighter to overcome.

Didn’t you watch the fight? My god, after the fourth round Mayweather was landing clean blows and Hatton head was snapping back violently. How many straight right hands did Hatton suffer during that fight it was kind of sad. It was pretty easy for PBF to figure Hatton.

It was clear Cortez wasn't going to let Ricky fight his fight, but instead of changing his game plan he continued to do the same throughout and got punished.

I dont think he was favouring anyone, He had so much backlash in the Hatton fight(From hatton blinded and biase fanatics) that he let the hold,hug and cling go on in the Calzaghe fight, NOBODY wants to see the sort of hugging and holding that Hatton and B-hop does in fights.

You can't blame Cortez for the outcome but there were points in time were Hatton would come in and no more than a second later would the referee be in there trying to break it up. There were times were he did seem like he was protecting Floyd but like I said, the referee can't be blamed for Hatton eating the ring post with his face.
