I haven't seen them. I heard about Kawashima, but at the same time, Kawashima is pretty good.

So, how many times has Jose Navarro been given an oppotunity for the title shot? Kawashima, Tokuyama, Kilirov, and Mijares... Hmm. Four times. Is he going to move down to flyweight for Donaire's IBF crown? Or is Donaire going to vacate his title?

Oh and warp1432, Mijares fought 2 tuneups in a row after he defeated El Travieso. Ex Japan champion Teppei Kikui and a French fighter whose spelling I can't remember off hand. Kawashima might be the least skilled world champion in the last decade, but he was able to knock out Msamori Tokuyama to capture the belt and defend it against Jose Navarro in a close split decision. He was also about to nail down Mijares in their first encounter in the ring and, though he was stopped, he got closer to him in their second meeting than Arce did. He still went on and fought Munoz for the WBA crown and clearly hurt Munoz and gave him trouble.

Anyway, this Donaire-Navarro crash is kind of an exam for Donaire. I hope both of them put a very good fight.

Oh right. I thought Teppei and the french guy were before Kawashima. My bad. Also Donaire will be moving up.

I noticed that the headline of that article said Navarro, but his name wasn't mentioned anywhere in the context. It seemed strange that he would fight for the flyweight title when he has been at 115 for a long time now.

But the vague article said he was defending his title for the first time. Hopefully something else will come out soon to clarify this.

Thats what i was going to ask. I seen no mention of Navarro. If its at flyweight and Navarro has to go down in weight, thats a set up and Navarro will be weakened since he's fought he whole career at batenweight.

I thought Navarro did enough to beat Kirlov but Kirlov was getting a lot of love from the tv announcers and from the hometown crowd. Everytime Kirlov did anything the crowd reacted and this effected the ring announccers but when Navarro opened up no one word even by the ring announcers.

I have the Navarro v. Kirlov fight just have to find it on my tapes. The one i haven't seen is the one with the asain where most everybody said Navarro was robbed. I belive the next asain he fought even Navarro admited he had lost that one but again I've only seen the Kirlov fight.
