I hope you're wrong. The last thing we need to happen to the middleweight lineage is for the door to get opened to welterweights. I was glad Spinks didn't pull it off against Taylor, because then we'd get a merry-go-round of blown-up 147 lbers for two years. At least Pavlik is a legit 160 lb ****er.

Well, not really. Pavlik is middleweight champ whereas Kessler is the #1 guy a division up. But let's be honest, Pavlik wouldn't have a prayer against Kessler, let alone against the current Ring LHW champ.
So basically the champ coming up in weight never has a chance? Tell that to Joe Calzaghe. To be honest, Kessler and Pavlik are both very similar fighters imo. I think Pavlik is a little stronger and Kessler is the better boxer so it evens out. I think Pavlik could beat him in a clear cut UD. I'd bet points on it too.

"Blown up" 147 pounders aren't to bad. Robinson, Basilio, and others came up from Welter and gave some great fights. Besides, most Welterweights nowadays are tall as hell minus Miguel Cotto and Floyd Mayweather.

            you're crazy.

pavlik isn't a ****** fighter. he knows when to take openings and definitely doesn't let his foot off the gas when he starts to sense weakness. he wouldn't make the same mistakes taylor made against spinks (not throwing over cory's weak jab).

if spinks had life and death with roman karmazin, there's no way he could go 12 with pavlik. yes that logic works. pavlik is a bigger, better fighter than karmazin.

pavlik stops spinks in 8 or less.

Kessler would never win 10 rounds against an American.

He made it a close fight against Taylor and his style alway make fighters open net look silly and bad.

even he just lost twice or so and he is pretty good dealing with distance too which is on his side as a southpaw.

Pavilk has straight shots jab and cross. but there are abit slow and not enough to win against someoen who is slippery

I don't even like Abraham's style, it's too inactive for me. It's just that he in fact has been the best middleweight for years. He'll lose when he goes up in weight, but he won't lose to Pavlik.

                      same as you.

Pavilk uses the jab as range and then his a straight right to open his guard and combos.
