Pacman is, cotto is, pavlik is...
did you seriously just try to tell me that Pacquiao, Cotto and Pavlik are more comparable to The Fab Four than Mayweather is?

Based on what he's done since late '03 alone Pac's in the discussion so far, but I don't know he's a lock. And there's still 1 and 1/2 years left in the decade anyway.

Should Marciano be rated higher than Ali because Ali has losses on his record? No.

Mayweather being undefeated doesn't matter. He's fought a whole lot of not-tough competition. Pacquiao has only fought the best at every division he's traversed, and he's given his all in full-scale wars. Mayweather is the opposite of a warrior. Pacquiao is the fighter of the decade because of his resume, his heart, his longevity, and his support. It doesn't matter if he did it over 10 years or in 2; he's accomplished way more than Mayweather.

If Pretty Boy comes back and fights Margarito, Cotto, and maybe even Williams...win, lose, or draw, he'd be #1 for simply taking on the toughest opponents. He'd move up the all-time list if one of the fights ended up going to a trilogy or something.

the greatest fighter of this genereation is floyd mayweather, meaning this decade, period. no fighter has accomplished what he's have in the amount of time he did it in. pacman is not the fighter of the decade, floyd mayweather jr. is. people like hopkins and sugar ray leonard, shane mosley, and oscar de la hoya has already claimed this, and this is just to name a few. skillwise, it's no contest, floyd is many leagues above manny pacman, manny has a lot of heart, but so did gatti, and interms of overall accomplishments and overall skill, floyd mayweather jr trumps everybody of this generation, no contest.

this has got to one of the dumbest post si have ever read in a short while. so, mayweather has to have a trilogy to add to his legacy? bull**** kid. how about he is so skillful that a rematch wouldn't be waaranted, which is pretty much the case with him vs all of those guys. when it's all said and done, mayweather will be looked at as the greater fighter over pacman, over roy jones jr, etc, because the hate has to stop first. manny has not accomplished way more than floyd. floyd has accomplsihed more than pacman, and in lesser time. what's that say about his skill level and how he dominated his opponents. majority of the people on here seem to think that floyd vs manny pacquiao at 130, where both fighters seemed to have been best at, would be a total wipeout, with floyd mopping the floor with manny, and there's been many posts and threads to prove such, what's that saying, floyd is the better fighter, much more skillful, and just greater overall. it wouldn't go to a trilogy, trust me, it'll be another mayweather jr domination. deal with it.

                i never thought of that.

do you think wladimir klitschko could beat joe calzaghe?
if they were both at 130 or 135, or hell 126, mayweather would dust the **** out of pacman, easily, i promise you that.

                  ****** logic

                  John Hively must have rabies.

Just because Floyd retired doesn't whipe his achievements off the records nor does it transport ablities and achievements to Manny.

                  Stupin reasoning and dumb logic.

its easier for smaller guys to go up in weight if they are defensive and pick shots and move back avoiding punishment.
and what do you base this on? have you even watched floyd fights? i tell you, the people on this forum has got to be some of the most clueless ****ers ever. the name of the game jackass is hit and not get hit, pernell whitaker ring a bell, roy jones jr ring a bell, ali ring a bell, you dumb ****? it's never easy to move up in weight for any fighter unless you possess a gift and a intelligent mindset like floyd has and had. he moved up in weight, and dominated, and dominated champions, what's that saying? he's a great fighter to the core, the greatest of this decade, greatest of his era. was floyd not offenseive against corley and gatti and n'dou, he didn't even look close to being knocked out in any of those fights. you see floyd is do great, that he could beat you potshotting or using combinations, being offensive of defensive minded, that's a mark of a truly gifted fighter, which floyd is, he has much more skill than manny, and has always had more skill than him. floyd's the best fighter of this decade, no doubt about it.

manny is a brawler/boxer, good for him, but place him in a ring with floyd at any weight class, skillwise, it's a long night for manny, i guarantee it. he'd wish he used defense more, especially if thay fought at 130, lights out pacman.

Mayweather would **** Pacquiao's world up.

You know that look Pac gets in the corner during a tough fight like he just wants to burst into tears?

He'll have that within the first minute.

                      Floyd makes him his *****.

He'll counter him in the center of the ring and taunt Freddie Roach while he slips punches.
