That is true, Calz stated several times he wanted to fight Pavlik, but he also said he wanted to fight Roy Jr..

To me, both are still in the running for Joe, it's a money thing and I don't rule out both fights happening before Joe retires.

I'm not saying this in a bad way, but I think you just lost yourself. Boxing is unlike any other blue or white collar profession.
