That is true, Calz stated several times he wanted to fight Pavlik, but he also said he wanted to fight Roy Jr..

To me, both are still in the running for Joe, it's a money thing and I don't rule out both fights happening before Joe retires.

One thing we do know for certain is this: no amount of tangible evidence- be it from clear and direct statements made in a recorded interview, sworn testimony, notarized statements.....the word of God himself....etc.....none of this will ever be good enough to get some of these people to acknowledge that evidence as substantial enough to be considered "proof."

So, you speak from experience, and that is how you feel? Boxing is like any other profession. Are garbage men scared to pick up garbage? Are bankers scared to bank? lol. You lost me.

Calzaghe has always wanted Jones and Warren was using Pavlik as leverage to get more more money from Roy. Warren almost cost Calzaghe the Jones fight and an estimated 20 million (for both), that's why Joe dropped Warren.

I'm not saying this in a bad way, but I think you just lost yourself. Boxing is unlike any other blue or white collar profession. Therefore, comparing boxers to banker and garbage men is a terrible analogy. Here's a quote from Joe Calzaghe himself on fighting Kessler. Kind of ironic that this is a calzaghe thread.

" I want to fight another Lacy, I want to be in that zone again and prove myself against the best guys because I don't get psyched up unless I fight somebody that I fear." Joe Calzaghe, Countdown to Hopkins-Calzaghe.

Joe Calzaghe vs Pavlik would be a huge mismatch.

Pavlik is a WHOLE class below Calzaghe, not an interesting fight.
To be honest, Calzaghe should just retire, he's a proven fighter and if he quits, he'll end up TOP 5 in the H.O.F.
