Bro you just made a thread on who has a better resume, Calzaghe or Floyd, lol.
I'd have thought a thread on underlining why Roy isn't as unlikely to win as made out, would be right up your alley seeing as though you often make that case.
I agree with T97, great post man, Roy is a tougher fight for Joe than Pavlik, because he has the tools to actually beat him, speed for one, it's a massive pro to have faster hands against Joe. Joe relies on his speed to win many fights, not being able to do that is new. Further still, even be struggling to be as fast is totally new for Joe and could easily be too much for him. Roys ring intelligence is immense, he just finds ways to win, this is also something Joe's known for in many fights, but I'd also say Roy wins here, he just does.
Joe will have to be totally on his game, and going in with or adapting to gameplans, styles that actually work against someone like Roy, otherwise he risks being out hustled and beaten in a few area's, and losing as SD or MD. I'd still favour a Calzaghe decision as I think he's taking it just seriously enough. But I'm happy to admit, I'd be way more nervous betting on Joe to beat Roy, than many other opponents out there which'd be more predictable in terms or reasons for winning, for the reasons stated.
