I agree with you, And i dont mind Joe fighting Roy because he has fought younger fighter in the last two years, Cleaned up his own division in doing so also,So i hope he picks up that massive pay he would get by fighting Roy.

Why let your son go down in history books looking like a coward, thats what people will remember when his last two fights were against supposedly shot opponents. And if he gets beat by a shot roy jones jr, thats going to look far worse then losing to someone like pavlik on his record.

Your igorant if you can't get your head around this and only believe that Calzaghe is somehow scared, when he's said he'd be willing to fight Pavlik as his 2nd preference, why even say that if your scared? He's never ducked anyone, he'd beat Pavlik easier than Kessler, and probably Roy. Your also ignorant if you think a Pavlik fight would be more money than Roy, that is ridiculous it's common knowledge that's not true so you've lost credibility there and are just saying whatever to justify some strange motive of Calzaghe, which has been exposed to be unfounded.

Mayweather also said Cotto would get his shot eventually. I still can't "wrap my head around" the fact that in 45 fights, Mikkel Kessler is the best opponent on his resume. LOL, Jones was NOT the one that got the PPV buys - it was Tito, boxing is a HUGE draw from the latin community, the numbers out of Puerto Rico alone were HUGE.

Calzaghe is NOT a draw here in the States, and you will have to eat crow when Calzaghe vs Jones doesn't sell anywhere NEAR what Jones vs Tito did. Remember this post - Calzaghe vs Jones Jr. will NOT sell as much, because the fight means nothing, just one former great fighter in Roy, going against a fighter who barely has a name in the U.S.!
