If I have ever heard some bull**** it was today. Isn't this the same Joe Calzaghe that JUMPED ALL ON PAVLIKS NUTS AFTER PAVLIK KNOCKED OUT JERMAIN TAYLOR THE FIRST TIME? Saying "Now we know who the real middleweight champion of the world is.. lets make a fight happen" Joe Calzaghe was so excited and all on Pavliks nuts. THEN when Pavlik beat Jermain Taylor the second time Calzaghe realized that Pavlik was no fluke. FINALLY when Pavlik beat the dog **** out of Gary Locket Calzaghe realized that he wanted no part of Pavlik. Save the bull**** Calzaghes. Pavlik is the real deal. THE FANS ARE NOT BUYING YOUR BULL****. We know who Jones is and we know who Pavlik is so save the excuses because none of us are buying that bull****. Keep your little perfect record intact.. Hopkins almost took it so dont take any chances. But save us the excuses trying to discredit Pavlik cause no one is blind.

This is just too funny. I can't even seriously get mad about this. Calzaghe whole career has been a joke. Beating two 40 year olds doesn't define your career. Does anybody seriously look at Cal's resume and think that Kessler, 43 year old Hopkins, and 39 year old RJJ are meaningful.

Joe is a good fighter, unfortunately he's got the Mayweather mentality, and he'll NEVER be a great fighter.

Seriously people need to get a grip, and get over this already. So many other fighters have genuinely ducked fighters at the top of their own division for months even years. Here we have Calzaghe openly saying for months Jones is his preference for probably his last fight. Hows that ducking, for the first time he just had a choice that's all.

Pavliks young and not even in the same division, he's just the best America has at the moment and some cynical yanks are making this out to be something it isn't, just because they're desperate to hopefully see their guy beat Calzaghe.

He's taylor made for Calzaghe, it'd be a mixture of Lacy/Kessler all over again, Roy actually has the attributes like speed and ring intelligence that would test Joe more. We can't always have everything our own way, and fighters don't always fight the guy you want him to, that happens many times a year from many fighters, in actual genuine same division ducking scenario's, not this cynical baloney. All polls show Calzaghe is well favoured against Kelly, even Kessler is. So get over it ppl, seriously, it's becoming obsessive.
