LOL they were not outnumbered. Far from it. Cortez did have cannons and muskets however so I guess that's kind of like being outnumberd.

The spaniards were great swordsmen though so they wouldn't have stood a chance anyway.

Even with cannons and swordsmanship the first spanish invaders in the philippines were repelled by just 2 villages of warriors armed with sticks and staffs.
