I think he should fight Roy Jones Jr then Kelly Pavlik, Then if people want to say he ducked Abraham fine, He knows he proved himself.

Calzaghe's now in a position to choose his fights, he wasn't so much in the past, hence them saying this. Enzo's funny lol, but largely right. Why does Pavlik deserve a shot over Roy, Froch, Abraham, Tarver, Johnson? Just doesn't make sense really, he's been transparent about who he wants, Roy did ok in his last fight, has the style to trouble Joe more than the Kessler esk Pavlik, and thats that.

The reason being people (well fat yanks) seem to "think" Pavlik is on the only realistic opportunity of beating Joe, and Pavlik's not even close.

Team Calz must have been eyeing a future fight up with Pavlik by letting there boyo Gary fight him, as this would be a very good way of measuring how good he is compared to his fighters first hand.

But if Pavlik had any brain's he would have made the lockett fight a close 12 rounder to try and lure them into a fight with Joe.
