There's a reason Williams started at 160 in 2000 and is fighting at 147 in 2008.

Well am not surprise, Williams isnt a WW even though he competes there and for him to be willing to go up 160 shows that.

It would have been fun to watch, but Williams couldn't handle that!

I don't know if I even believe that this was seriously considered by Pavlik's team. What's in it for him if he wins? Everyone will just say he beat up a WW.

I think that is a good quality to have too but I think Paul is seriously overestimating himself if he thinks he can beat Pavlik. Jumping up two weight classes to fight the top dog is insane!!

Williams was willing to move up by two weight classes to make the fight. Williams is seen as a welterweight freak due to his physical dimensions. He stands at a near 6'3 and has the reach of a heavyweight. [details]
Wow, Paul can't get props for wanting to fight a big guy. lol He gets belittled for fighting in a division guys say he doesn't belong fighting in. Some of you guys trip me out lol. I hate Arum's business tactics. He is a piece of !@#$@#!$. Paul is willing to put himself on the line against a middleweight. Did Pav just duck Williams??? lol.
