You must be referring about the old hop that fought in the Cal fight. Pavlik will be dealing with a guy who has just as much if not more power than him. If Pav lets his guard down one time, it could be over. If AA landed those punches taylor landed, you would see Pav's head fly off his shoulders. Pav could very well give AA his toughest fight. I think it's a competitive fight until Pav makes that one mistake, and it's all over. He will try to outwork AA, and imo he would be getting too close. Pav will be thinking AA is going to wing, and boom a right down the middle, or body shots to set up the hook. AA's faster hands will be a factor too. After this win, AA is ranked in the top 10 pfp.

As of right now, he is maybe within top 20. One great performance does not propel the fighter into the top 10 overnight. A win over Pavlik would, in effect, make him a king at 160 and earn him a top 10 spot.

I don't think the a fight with Pavlik would be as easy as some of you think. Abraham could go to the body all night though and try to tire Pavlik out and get him out of there in the late rounds. But Abraham cannot cover up for 6 rounds against Pavlik, he's very powerful and will get to Abraham eventually. It would be one hell of a fight, the one that makes most sense today.
