Honestly, it should be 2-1 for Fenech since Fenech was jobbed in the first fight. The second was a one-sided beatdown though, and just went to prove that Azumah Nelson was all that and a bag of chips.

...I watched that fight and was very disappointed in the "draw"...he spanked Nelson and if I remember correctly, he's the only one, other then Sanchez, that put a "hurt'n" on Nelson...Fenech was a bad bad man in his peak...

Bad decision though. Fenech outworked him and Zoom Zoom was looking pretty bad towards the end of the fight. The 2nd fight is one of my favorite fights, Azumah took him to school and knocked him out.

Kind of sad to see two old dudes throwing hands, but hey they can do what they want. I'd like to see Gomez/Pintor II next.

either way, those two fights were more or less the end of both's careers, probebly because they were both pretty tough fights. they started going downhill pretty quick after those matches.

Nelson got stitched up , straight after the fight he said " it was supposed to be a draw I dont know what happened , if it makes Jeff happy Im happy " it was as plain as day that they were supposed go around and get a draw result , Jeff had a bad head on waiting for the result as he knew what was gunna happen .

Prospect Willie Kickett beat St Clair ( Khan foe ) clearly but lacks power and will only go so far on the world stage .

MELBOURNE, Australia -- Jeff Fenech earned bragging rights with a majority decision over Azumah Nelson in a junior middleweight bout Tuesday, 16 years after they last fought for a world title.

Though the fight was billed as a serious rematch, the 44-year-old Fenech and 49-year-old Nelson were far from the form they exhibited in fighting for super featherweight titles in 1991 and 1992.

Judges scored Tuesday's 10-round bout 96-94, 96-94 and 95-95 for Fenech.

The Australian was bidding for a third world title in the first fight in 1991 in Las Vegas, which ended in a controversial draw. Azumah, from Ghana, knocked Fenech out in the eighth round of the 1992 rematch in Melbourne.

Tuesday's fight was billed as "the final round" of their rivalry and was claimed to be more than an exhibition, though Fenech last fought professionally in 1996 and Nelson in 1998.

Both had been triple world champions when they met in Melbourne, but finished their careers matched against lesser opponents.

Tuesday's bout revealed little of their old class and there were boos and catcalls from some spectators who had paid up to $2,380 for a ringside seat.

The match was denounced by critics including the Australian Medical Association and by the Ghanaian Boxing Association.

Actually, Fenech was undefeated and going in for his fourth world title in different weight divisions, not third. He put a ten round beat-down on Nelson after losing the first two rounds and was seriously robbed. He would have been the first ever undefeated fighter to win his fourth title in four different weight divisions. Not bad.

I didn't even bother watching this crap though. They were in their primes at Featherweight and yet were fighting at Jr MW! I knew it was going to be a farce. Fenech has probably settled his mind from this though as that first draw robbery destroyed him. He lost every ounce of his fighting spirit because of that s I guess I'm kind of glad he 'won'.

Mate, you really think because he couldn't knock out Kickett he lacks power? Or you think in spite of not knocking him out he still lacks power? No one has ever been close to knocking St Clair out or even hurting him. Anyway, he has enough power to do fine at the top level and as long as he reigns in his hand dropping I still think he will go far.
