I'm not sure how effective Pavlik would be at 170, a fight with Calzaghe at 168 for his belts would be more important though.
I've heard that Cal-Z and Jones can't agree on money... so they
they're floating the Pavlik thing again to gague interest.

A 43 year old Bernard Hopkins knocked down Calzaghe and won at least 4 rounds.... I think Calzaghe would probably be a favorite, but to say that a 26 year old has NO CHANCE is ridiculous.

Pavlik is an absolute no-hoper against Calzaghe, and an underdog against Abraham. You kids need to quit this ducking talk

I think we are seeing a bit too much division fighting. I wouldn't complain if it got us better match-ups but it really feels like money fights by two fighters were the outcome is not in doubt most of the time due to the weight. We are forced to doubt ourselves and begin to doubt the outcome due to the promotional efforts. Can anyone say Hatton/Mayweather? Like that was going to every end differently.

Calzaghe won't get any credit if he beats pavlik above 168.

              The fight won't happen anyway.

Jones-Calzaghe is a sham fight between old men. But Pavlik-Calzaghe is a ridiculous mismatch. I'm not interested in either fight.

Pavlik has to prove he's the best in his division. Most experts have never considered him such, and won't until he fights Abraham.

Calzaghe should fight the top contender for his Ring 175 title . . . . either Dawson or Tarver.

Pavlik is an underdog against Abraham? Who has Arthur beat besides Miranda? And how many titles has Miranda won again? If/when the fight comes off, I can guarantee you that Pavlik will be the favorite.

Pavlik will be favored against Abraham. But I think the fight is a toss up and it's one that I'm looking foward to.
