Well Abraham beat Miranda faster and convincingly than Pavlik did.

Miranda stopped Howard Eastman in 7, whereas Eastman had gone the full 12 with Abraham 8 months earlier. That really didn't mean much in the end, did it? Holyfield stopped Douglas in 3, where Tyson struggled for 10 rounds 9 months prior, does that mean Holyfield hit harder or was better than Tyson?

Wow, what a persuasive argument. Bravo!

He said the fight would have to take place at a catch-weight between 168 and 175. The probable weight being eyed is 170. [details]
this guy calzage is a coward. he saw the devestating effect of pavliks true middleweight power and he wants no part of it.

No it isn't. The guy's got one defense of his middleweight titles, and people want him to jump to LHW?

All this pound for pound nonsense gets in too many people's heads. Let guys fight the top contenders in their divisions. If you unify and/or defend ten times, then you look for a move up.

I know you don't like Kellerman, Kayjay, but I assume you agreed with what he said after the Lockett fight. Clean out the division, and make your own legacy.

Oh c'mon... can we just say they both did very well against Miranda and not judge a potential fight on that ridiuclous basis. One could say that Kelly did better because he only lost one round where as Abrhaham lost two... You see how ridiculous this is?

No... that is ridiculous. You make fights people want to see. I don't want to see Pavlik against Lockett. or Pavlik against Rubio. I want to see Pavlik fight someone who he might lose to. That's a whole lot more fun than watching an execution. I understand Calzaghe fans feel differently. Pavlik fans want to see challenges not ************ gatherings.
