I think the Jury is still out on Khan's punching power. He's got immense speed, but he jabs then he's back out, like an Olympic boxer. I think it's the fury of Khan's speed that KO's boxers and not the power.

Taking a look at all his past fights, he does this kind of Street Fighter II fury of fists and I think it just overwhelms the opposition. Similar to Calzaghe.
The speed doesn't give you time to think, or sometimes even cover up....therefore like we seen with Gomez...13 shots and the ref jumps in.

lol, i had made the same comparison with Calzaghe while i was watching the fight .... dunno if it could be said that he slaps tho!!

It wasnt those shots in particular that caused it to be stopped. It was Gomez taking punishment over time and that was the final straw, the actual finish was ****. I re watched it and Khan landed **** all. But it was the whole fights punishment not that attack i think.
