Frank warrens picked opponant for khan didnt go to plan respect gomez!

Frank warrens plan to get khan a easy win over a vet didnt go according to plan lmao.
He did well he was not a hand picked warren fighter thats for sure i think they just suspected him to roll over and die because of his age.
Big mistake because gomez didnt roll over and die he fought his heart out the fight was only stopped because of the ref not the fact that gomez was hurt at all because he wasnt.
Warren looked very scared when khan went down so i think they gna push him much slower now then before.
Khan's defence, chin and power have now all been questioned because of this 1 fight in my opinion its worse then limond because gomez is so old and shot.

However, Gomez has a style were he can knock guys down and out easy. He has an OK KO Ratio (I think..I aint checked) Limond has very little punch power (25% KO Ratio)

Punch power is Always the last to leave anyone.

        And Gomez is still 31.

yeh i know that but if u noticed he misses alot of his punches which makes it even worse for khan because gomez only landed about 30 times in 5 rounds! and that was enough to kd khan lol.

If you get hit when you can't see it then it don't matter really, Khan didn't see that shot cause they were in close. Also, when Limond put him down Khan was in real trouble, the Gomez one wasn't nearly as bad.

That body shot by Gomez ****ed him up though!

I think the Jury is still out on Khan's punching power. He's got immense speed, but he jabs then he's back out, like an Olympic boxer. I think it's the fury of Khan's speed that KO's boxers and not the power.

There's a lot of controversy with that knockdown, supposedly the ref gave away too many seconds to recover and Khan should have lost.

I agree with the body shot, imagine that shot coming from Katsidis...game over man.

I think Frank knew Gomez would fight hard and show heart and I think that's what he would have wanted, but only to justify them choosing him as an opponent.

However I think that the knockdown would have been exactly what they didn't want. It has yet again made people question Khan's chin and defence and subsequently I don't think Khan will really move forward.

If the fight had gone to plan and Gomez would have looked good but Amir still brushed him aside and looked good defensively against an aggressive opponent, Khan may have got his wish and had a title fight by the end of the year. Now due to that knockdown, he won't.

yeh the knockdown ***ed it up for him and that kd with limond is very dodgey because he had so much seconds to recover.
